Ahead of the March 20, 2026, episode of SmackDown, Tama Tonga (a member of The MFT / Bloodline group) posted a short 360-degree video on social media. The clip showed the empty arena, the stage, the ring setup, and some wrestlers (including Solo Sikoa) rehearsing their segments.
Despite the fact that WWE has a show called “Unreal”, where they share and talk about what goes on behind the scenes to create their storylines and produce their shows, his video apparently went a step too far.

WWE seems to have a strict, but unwritten rule against filming or posting anything from rehearsals. Even though the video didn’t reveal major spoilers or sensitive production details, the company saw it is a big no-no and hit him with a significant financial penalty. According to a report from Fightful Select, the fine landed in the five-figure range, meaning between $10,000 and $99,999.
The news first broke via Andrew Zarian (Mat Men Podcast). The video is still up, but the original version was change and it appears he deleted the part where he recorded the rehearsals for the show which was the reason he got fined.
Tama Tonga’s Reaction
Tonga addressed the fine in recent comments: “Thanks for joining the live. As addressed, yes I was fined – deserved. I knew better- a careless mistake. -Lesson learned. Take the hit and move on. Back to work.”
It will be interesting to see how many WWE stars decide to be cautious about what they post. There are several stars who now use social media and post details and footage of themselves behind the scenes. Where the line is will be something every talent has to navigate.
They also just found out that Tonga crossed one of those lines.
