Triple H is doing his best to hype up the 2026 Royal Rumble. Set to take place on Saturday from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this is an event that often comes with several surprises. The match itself is set up to deliver unexpected returns and make for great fun, but with the event happening outside North America, it wasn’t clear whether WWE would proceed as they typically do.
Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H said the match is designed to include surprises. You’re getting positively surprised by who is next, and the strategy of what happens when that person comes out,” he explained. He added, “This year will be no different.”
He also talked about how loaded the matches already are, with names like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul on the men’s side. In the women’s match is Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and many more.
Rumored to potentially return to WWE is Chris Jericho, although talk about him coming back to WWE has been hot and cold of late.

Also on the show is AJ Styles vs. Gunther, in what could be Styles’ retirement match.
Fans can stream the 2026 Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 31st at 2 PM ET on the ESPN App. International fans will also get the show on Netflix.
