In anticipation of the Buffalo Bills’ playoff matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Delaware North, the team’s food service partner, is serving up a Taylor Swift-themed menu at Highmark Stadium. The culinary offerings are designed to delight Swifties as they gear up for an exciting showdown.
Swift arrived for the game today, met by boos from many Bills fans. Arriving on her private jet at approximately 4 pm, Swift was greeted on the tarmac by a procession of SUVs, a sprinter van, and a police escort. Subsequently, she was captured on camera as she entered, donning a red hat and a white jacket for the game. As always, her presence at the game has garnered a ton of attention.
The stadium where the game is taking place is having some fun with all of the press she’s bringing, along with the millions of extra eyeballs to the game. Smartly, they got on top of things and had their food menu ready to go.
Delaware North’s menu features two special items named after Taylor Swift’s hit songs: the “Bad Blood” Waffle Fries and the “Karma” Quesadilla. The “Bad Blood” Waffle Fries are a 2-foot display of spiced waffle fries, featuring Buffalo chicken and blue cheese on one side and Kansas City Cattleman’s BBQ pork, cole slaw, and bread-and-butter pickles on the other. Meanwhile, the “Karma” Quesadilla is a triple-stacked delight filled with chicken tenders, bacon, and cilantro ranch, topped with a pork-belly chaser.
The creative menu aims to celebrate the rivalry between the Bills and the Chiefs, especially with Taylor Swift, who is famously dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The culinary offerings extend beyond Swift-themed items, including the Kansas City Bowl of Tears BBQ—a mound of mac and cheese, pulled pork, jalapeño, roasted corn, cornbread croutons, and pickled red onion.
The Stadium Wanted to Make This Game a Memorable Experience
As a quote from People Magazine, Andy Altomare, Delaware North’s general manager at Highmark Stadium, expressed excitement about the unique menu, stating, “Our culinary team has again designed a great menu for the Divisional playoff game this weekend, with several new items for fans as they cheer on the Bills.”
In addition to the Taylor Swift-inspired treats, Highmark Stadium will continue to offer a variety of Bills-themed menu items, fan favorites like 2-foot nachos, a fried chicken and waffle sandwich, and the Grape Davis drink.
