Braun Strowman Undergoes Neck Fusion Surgery, Out Months for WWE

WWE superstar Braun Strowman is facing a lengthy period on the sidelines after undergoing neck fusion surgery. Strowman’s injury troubles began in late April when he suffered a concussion, and although he made a brief return to the ring on the May 1 episode of WWE Raw, he has been absent from action since then. PWInsider recently reported that Strowman was dealing with an unspecified injury, and now the wrestler has revealed the details of his surgery.

Taking to Instagram, Strowman confirmed that he had undergone fusion surgery on his C4/C5 vertebrae. He expressed his gratitude towards WWE for their support throughout the process, emphasizing that it was a scary experience to discover the need for surgery. Strowman assured his fans that he will bounce back from this setback, although the healing process will require some time.

He wrote:

Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes. Much Love Adam Scherr

While it’s unfortunate news for fans who were eagerly awaiting Strowman’s return to the ring, the priority now is for him to focus on his recovery and return to full health. While nothing is confirmed, expect talk of him to be back to surface sometime around WWE Survivor Series, with a possible return between then and the Royal Rumble.
