Tyreek Hill Provides Injury Update, Has “No Power” in Left Leg

While NFL training camps are just getting started, the free-agent market still has some marquee names left on it, and none are bigger than Tyreek Hill.

The superstar wide receiver is recovering from tearing multiple ligaments in his knee, including his ACL, in a Week 4 win over the New York Jets on Monday Night Football last season.

It’s been somewhat unknown whether Hill will be ready or even wants to play in 2026 after such a serious injury, and that has now been put further into question. That’s because of a recently shared a video that he shared rehabbing and running 10 months post-surgery, which included a mention that he still has no power in his left leg.

Hill said:

“So it’s about 10 months after doing two surgeries. My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it’s one day at a time… To God be the glory, I’ma keep grinding, dawg. I ain’t gonna tell you what my timeline is, but my timeline looking real good right now, man,”

The 32-year-old Hill was released by the Miami Dolphins in February after parts of four seasons with the team.

Many have speculated about a potential reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs, and comments from longtime teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on his recovery video only added fuel to that speculation.

It ultimately, however, all comes down to Hill’s health. While he mentions that his timeline is looking good, the comment about having no power in his surgically repaired left leg doesn’t exactly suggest that a return to football is on the horizon.
