New York Reunion? Odell Beckham Jr. Works Out for Giants

The New York Giants have been looking to add some wide receiver depth before the 2026-27 season, and it sounds like they might be turning to a familiar face to do so.

According to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the Giants had former superstar wideout Odell Beckham Jr. in for a workout on Monday afternoon, and a reunion is very much in the cards.

Rapoport wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

“Former #Giants star WR Odell Beckham Jr worked out for his old team today, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A reunion seems possible,”

The now 33-year-old Beckham Jr. sat out the 2025–26 season, last suiting up in 2024–25 for the Miami Dolphins, where he was used very sparingly, tallying nine receptions for 55 yards and zero touchdowns across nine games.

Beckham Jr. has made it known in recent months that he would love the opportunity to play with new young star quarterback Jaxson Dart back in his old stomping grounds.

“Weird you say that. That sounds great. If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that, be excited about that. He’s a good dude, he’s young, he likes to dance, I like all that. So he looks like he likes to have fun,”

It appears as if we’re nearing the possibility of a Dart-to-Beckham Jr. connection becoming a reality.

After being drafted 12th overall by New York back in 2014, Beckham Jr. burst onto the scene as one of the most electric players in football. He racked up three consecutive 1,300+ yard and 10+ touchdown seasons in the Big Apple before injuries, among other things, led to a trade to the Cleveland Browns.

How much of a role he would have in this Giants offense remains unknown, though you have to imagine he wouldn’t be attempting a comeback just to be a cheerleader on the sidelines.
