Tag Team Star Returns to WWE Noticeably Bulkier, Declares ‘I Got My Weight Up’

WWE superstar Montez Ford made a viral return to WWE action, catching attention during the Street Profits’ recent live event tour. He is sporting a significantly bulkier physique that has fans and observers buzzing.

The former tag team champion, absent from WWE television since October 2025, stepped back into the ring alongside Angelo Dawkins during the three-city loop, including a stop in Nashville. In viral footage from the event, Ford playfully had Dawkins help remove his jacket on the apron. Once revealed, his noticeably larger frame, it prompted him to jokingly flex toward the crowd and proclaim, “I got my weight up!”

The charismatic moment drew laughs and cheers from the audience. At the same time, fans online shared the photo and video, as if to suggest Ford has been lazy and is now extremely overweight.

Many fans online didn’t believe the photo that was going around was real. It took video evidence of his appearance for people to realize the image was accurate.

Ford Is Likely Bulking Up, Then Cutting Weight

Ford, known for his lean, athletic build and high-flying style throughout his WWE career, appears to have used his time away to intentionally bulk up. Fans had mixed reactions: some were confused by the weight gain, while others speculated it was a deliberate bulk phase ahead of a potential cut.

If and when he returns to television, expect that the extra body fat will have been leaned out.

The Street Profits’ hiatus ended without explanation, but their return should be coming down the line. One would have to think he’d need at least a couple of weeks to cut weight if the plan was to set them up for a match on the road to WrestleMania.
